Warm-Edge Spacer System

 

Your window spacer system separates glass layers and heightens the energy efficiency of the entire unit. The box-shaped spacer system increases heat loss and causes condensation to form around the glass edges.

Our Warm-Edge Spacer blocks the heat far more effectively and reduces condensation on the glass during the winter. Non-conducive edges eliminate any glass-to-metal contact and contribute to a reduction of edge-of-glass temperatures. The U-channel designs are far more effective than previous models.

Low-E Glass

We create SolarZone Low-E Glass by applying a microscopic, undetectable metallic coating to the second surface of an insulating glass unit. It blocks heat gain from the sun’s reflected rays in the summer, but allows warmth from shorter solar rays into the house during winter months.

Argon

The space between the glass lites is filled with Argon gas. This colorless, odorless, non-reactive gas provides low thermal conductivity and high density (Argon is 38% denser than air at 1.784 grams per liter at STP) making it the perfect insulating agent.
